DLSS NR Mod Enables DLSS 4.5 and Neural Rendering on AMD Radeon GPUs

Developer danielblnc has released DLSS NR version 0.8.0, bringing NVIDIA proprietary upscaling and frame generation tools to AMD Radeon graphics cards. The open software package enables DLSS 4.5 and DLSS 5 features across RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 hardware. The tool is available as a free download on GitHub, though anti cheat software limits its use strictly to single player titles.

The project targets AMD users who want access to exclusive green team rendering features. Version 0.8.0 adds DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution presets M and L, Ray Reconstruction model F, and DLSS frame generation at 4x multipliers. The developer confirms that these tools run across both RDNA 3 and newer RDNA 4 graphics cards through a unified translation layer.

Installation relies on a companion tool called NeuralHub to detect compatible games and inject the necessary libraries automatically. The software requires Windows 11 and operates exclusively on titles running the DirectX 12 API. Competitive gamers cannot use the tool in online environments because anti cheat mechanisms flag the injected files as unauthorized modifications.

Early benchmark numbers show promising framerates on modern Radeon silicon. The developer states that a Radeon RX 9070 XT running DLSS 5 Neural Rendering produces 90 to 100 fps at 1080p resolution, with an eventual goal of matching GeForce RTX 5070 Ti performance levels.

Community testing tells a different story regarding Ray Reconstruction. Reddit user discussions highlight an average 25% performance drop in Cyberpunk 2077 path tracing at 1440p, with only 1 player reporting stable frame times. The tool gives AMD owners access to previously locked technologies, but stability varies heavily depending on the specific rendering workload.
