Feiniu and Xiliweishi have released an ultra compact 10 Gbps network switch featuring 6 copper ethernet ports and 2 optical SFP ports. The device targets NAS users with plug and play automation, Layer 3 network management, and zero configuration setup. Retail pricing starts at 1399 yuan (around $195), bundled with 2 braided Cat 8 ethernet cables.
The hardware uses a CNC machined aluminum alloy body measuring 177 by 126 by 29 millimeters, taking up roughly 1/3 the volume of typical competitors. Cooling relies on a fluid dynamic bearing fan, while the internal circuit board includes 6KV hardware level lightning surge protection. The port array delivers full 10 Gbps speeds with backward compatibility for 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps connections, making it practical for home network splits and high speed storage setups.
Software controls include Web management alongside STP, RSTP, and MSTP loop protection to stop broadcast storms. Access control lists, cross subnet communication, and network isolation come standard. A dedicated mobile application handles device pairing and 1 touch speed tests. For users running fnOS on a NAS, the switch automatically configures LACP dual port link aggregation without manual intervention, readjusting the connection immediately if cables are swapped or moved.
The base unit retails for 1399 yuan (roughly $195) with 2 gold plated Cat 8 cables included in the package. Buyers can also upgrade to a bundle containing high speed 10 Gbps DAC copper cabling.
