GIGABYTE has launched the GS22F12I and GS27F16I, 2 budget gaming monitors featuring high refresh rate panels and variable refresh rate support. The displays cater to entry level setups with 120 Hz and 180 Hz refresh options alongside 1 ms response times. Both models are manufactured in India and are currently on sale starting at 5750 rupees (roughly $60).
GIGABYTE GS22F12I Hardware Specifications
The entry model GS22F12I uses a 21.45 inch display with Full HD 1920x1080 resolution. It runs at a native 120 Hz refresh rate with a 1 ms MPRT response time and variable refresh rate support to prevent screen tearing. The screen delivers up to 250 nits of brightness with a static contrast ratio of 4000:1. Color coverage reaches 109% of the sRGB color space and 95% of DCI P3. Connectivity consists of 1 HDMI 1.4 port and 1 legacy D Sub connector. The monitor mounts to a standard VESA 75x75 mm bracket or uses the included stand with a tilt range from minus 5 to 20 degrees.

The larger GS27F16I steps up to a 26.5 inch VA panel with Full HD resolution. This version runs at 165 Hz natively and can overclock up to 180 Hz in dedicated performance modes. It features a 1 ms MPRT response time, 300 nits of peak brightness, a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, and HDR10 compliance. Color reproduction covers 120% of sRGB and 93% of DCI P3.
GIGABYTE added several firmware tools to the 26.5 inch model. Black Equalizer enhances visibility in dark in game environments, while Aim Stabilizer Sync cuts down on motion blur during fast gameplay. Smart OD automatically adjusts panel overdrive to reduce ghosting trails behind moving objects. Video inputs include 1 HDMI 2.0 port and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connection, with mounting handled via a VESA 100x100 mm interface.
Both monitors are produced locally in India and are available through domestic retailers. The GS22F12I retails for 5750 rupees, which translates to approximately $60. The larger GS27F16I is priced at 10449 rupees, or roughly $110. International release plans for other markets have not been confirmed.
