Haimacloud GEAR Hybrid Gaming Handheld Combines Snapdragon 865 with RTX Cloud Streaming

Haimacloud has launched the GEAR, a hybrid handheld gaming console that combines local mobile hardware with dedicated cloud streaming servers. The portable system pairs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 7 inch 144Hz OLED panel while streaming PC titles at 1080p and 144FPS. The standalone hardware is available now in China for 3149 yuan (around $435 USD), with a cloud subscription bundle priced at 4349 yuan (around $601 USD).

The console features a 7 inch OLED screen running at 1920x1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2ms response time, and 800 nits peak brightness. For physical inputs, the machine uses TMR magnetic joysticks, Hall effect analog triggers, and mechanical microswitches for the action buttons. The ABXY button layout uses a modular design that lets users swap configurations based on personal preference. A 6 axis motion sensor handles gyroscope aiming, and the entire chassis weighs 450 grams.

Haimacloud equips the handheld with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage running Android 13. An active cooling fan prevents thermal throttling during intensive local gaming sessions. Power comes from an 8000mAh battery designed for extended mobile play. Wireless connectivity relies on Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 protocols for low latency pairing and network stability.

The company links the console to remote gaming rigs powered by Intel Core i7 12700KF processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 70 class graphics cards. This cloud infrastructure delivers up to 1080p resolution at 144FPS directly to the handheld screen. In China, the hardware by itself sells for 3149 yuan (roughly $435 USD). Buyers who want access to the remote streaming servers can purchase a bundle that includes 1 year of Legend cloud membership for 4349 yuan (roughly $601 USD).
