Honor has listed the Pad X7b on its global site, introducing a budget tablet featuring a 9.7 inch 90 Hz display and a metal body. The device focuses on extended battery life, providing up to 21 hours of reading on a single charge. Pricing in Saudi Arabia starts at SAR 599.00 about $135 for the base model, with an LTE version available for SAR 699.00 about $189.
The tablet features a 9.7 inch panel with a resolution of 2052x1152 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of peak brightness. Honor states the screen covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. For visual comfort, the software includes a blue light filter, Dynamic Dimming technology, and a dedicated eBook Mode to reduce eye fatigue during long reading sessions.
Honor uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor with 4GB of physical RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the memory with up to 4GB of virtual RAM and add up to 2TB of extra space using a microSD card slot. An 8000 mAh battery supplies power to the hardware. According to official testing data, 1 full charge delivers up to 16 hours of continuous video playback, 21 hours of reading, or up to 82 days of standby operation.
The Honor Pad X7b is currently listed in Saudi Arabia across 2 connectivity options. The standard Wi Fi edition costs $133, while the cellular model equipped with an LTE modem retails for $186. Honor has not yet confirmed release schedules for other international regions.
