Filming for Season 3 began earlier in 2026 and currently has roughly 1 month of work remaining on set. Once shooting wraps, the project enters post production for editing and visual effects. MacLachlan returns as Hank MacLean, the father of lead character Lucy. His storyline remains uncertain after the Season 2 finale wiped his memory, leaving questions about how the character will function in upcoming storylines.
The series will shift part of its setting to Colorado, a region never featured in the original video games. The production also added Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul to the cast roster. Showrunners face the task of regaining audience momentum after Season 2 saw lower viewership metrics than the debut season.
