Lenovo has launched the Legion R7 Pro gaming mouse in China, bringing a high precision PAW 3950 optical sensor and dual 8K polling rates to a lightweight 59g frame. The peripheral features custom mechanical switches rated for 120,000,000 clicks and is currently open for reservations on JD.com at 449 yuan (roughly $62 USD). Global release plans have not been announced.
The core tracking is handled by the PAW 3950 sensor, which offers a scanning rate exceeding 20000 FPS for accurate target acquisition. Processing is managed by a Telink 3228 microcontroller. Lenovo implements its proprietary LEGION Link wireless protocol, allowing the mouse to maintain an 8000 Hz polling rate across both wired and wireless connections. Users can adjust tracking parameters, DPI steps, and button assignments directly through the LEGION Zone desktop client or via a browser interface.
Lenovo built the shell with a right handed asymmetrical profile shaped by player grip data. The chassis uses an internal skeleton layout to keep the total weight down to 59 grams without needing external honeycomb cutouts. The exterior surface is covered with a Speed Glide coating designed for sweat resistance and grip during long sessions. Primary clicks rely on custom Legion mechanical switches engineered to last for 120,000,000 actuations. Buyers can pick between 2 color finishes: Carbon Black and Ice White.
