MSI has introduced the limited GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC graphics card in partnership with Activision. The hardware takes design inspiration from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 and features an industry first fully dyed yellow heatsink. The card is scheduled for a limited release across select retail markets.
MSI applied custom styling across the entire cooling assembly rather than limiting changes to simple exterior stickers. The hardware includes customized fan hub caps, bright yellow front panel accents, and a themed metal backplate. Most distinctively, the manufacturer dyed the complete metal heatsink fin array yellow, marking the first time this manufacturing method has appeared on a commercial graphics card.
The retail package includes a matching yellow support bracket designed to prevent GPU sag inside PC cases. The underlying board carries 16GB of video memory with a factory overclock profile. MSI confirmed that shipments will head to select regional markets in limited numbers, though official pricing details remain unannounced.
