Rapoo Launches VT2 MAX V2 Gaming Mice with 8000Hz Polling and PAW 3955 Sensor

Rapoo has launched the VT2 MAX V2 and VT2s MAX V2 wireless gaming mice on JD.com. Built on the PixArt PAW 3955 Ultimate optical sensor and Nordic 54LM20 controller, the hardware delivers native 8000Hz polling rates in both wired and wireless modes. Both models are currently open for pre order in China priced at 329 yuan (around $45 USD).

Rapoo separates the lineup by hand size and grip style. The standard VT2 MAX V2 measures 126 by 40 millimeters and weighs approximately 55 grams, using a taller rear profile suited for medium and large hands using palm or claw grips. The smaller VT2s MAX V2 measures 119 by 39 millimeters, drops weight to roughly 52 grams, and uses a medium profile targeted at claw and fingertip grip users with smaller hands. Both versions come in Starry Black, Moonlight White, Lava Red, and Raspberry Pink with a non slip skin friendly surface coating.

Tracking performance relies on the PixArt PAW 3955 Ultimate sensor paired with the Nordic 54LM20 processing unit. The hardware provides a sensitivity range spanning 1 to 60000 DPI alongside 60G acceleration tracking. Users can configure lift off distance across 11 levels within 1.7 millimeters, adjust independent horizontal and vertical axis sensitivity, and enable angle snapping. The connection supports native 8000Hz polling over wired and wireless links, bringing button click latency down to 0.155 milliseconds with debounce filtering adjustments up to 32 milliseconds.

An 800mAh internal lithium battery powers the hardware for up to 750 hours of total operational runtime. Recharging options include wired cables, wireless pads, and magnetic contact docks, with a 1 minute fast charge restoring roughly 6.5 hours of active playtime. Software support includes both downloadable desktop drivers and a browser based web interface. The system stores configuration profiles directly to onboard memory or cloud accounts, automatically switching profiles based on the active application.
