Razer has introduced the Basilisk V4 Pro, an ergonomic wireless gaming mouse featuring a 50000 dpi optical sensor and true 8000 Hz polling across both wired and wireless modes. The hardware updates the classic silhouette with 14 customizable controls and arrives alongside the Mouse Dock V2 Pro for wireless charging. Razer has not yet published official pricing for the new peripheral lineup.

Razer updated the chassis layout by adding a third thumb button and an extra control along the edge of the primary left click switch. The multi function trigger sits closer to the thumb rest to shorten finger travel across 14 total programmable inputs. The HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen 2 offers a 24 step tactile mode, a 48 step precision profile, and free spinning for fast document travel. Smart Reel firmware automatically shifts between these states based on rotation speed, while Virtual Acceleration increases scrolling velocity as the wheel turns faster. Users configure these parameters directly inside Razer Synapse.

The mouse tracks movement using the Focus Pro 50K Gen 3 optical sensor. This component delivers tracking speeds up to 930 ips and 90 g acceleration, supported by Frame Sync technology to align sensor reporting with monitor refresh cycles. Asymmetric Cut Off allows independent calibration for lift off and landing distances. Optical switches rated for 100000000 clicks require 12% less actuation force than the preceding generation. Both the detachable cable and wireless connection operate at an 8000 Hz polling rate.

Connectivity options cover HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2, Bluetooth 6.2, and wired USB. Bluetooth pairing stores connections for 3 individual devices. The internal battery lasts up to 200 hours on HyperSpeed wireless at a standard 1000 Hz polling rate, rising to 275 hours on Bluetooth. Razer also sells the Mouse Dock V2 Pro, a wireless charging base featuring a built in 8000 Hz transceiver, Multi Device pairing, and 8 zone Chroma RGB lighting on a non slip rubber base.

Razer also introduced the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed as a lighter option weighing 94 grams. This version uses the Focus X 33K Gen 3 sensor, provides 12 customizable buttons, and runs up to 140 hours on battery power.
