Samsung authorized retail channels have opened reservations for the upcoming W27 luxury foldable smartphone ahead of its official launch. The device continues the long running Heart of the World series and is expected to share core hardware with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Physical store reservations are currently open in China, allowing buyers to secure early inventory before shipments begin.
The W27 chassis is expected to feature a 6.5 inch FHD+ exterior screen protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. Unfolding the device reveals an 8 inch QXGA+ flexible display treated with an anti reflective coating and delivering peak brightness levels up to 3000 nits. Both panels are designed to deliver clear visibility in direct sunlight while maintaining durability across daily folding cycles.
The rear camera housing holds 3 separate sensors. The primary 200 MP wide camera utilizes an f/1.7 aperture and provides 2x in sensor optical zoom. An auxiliary 50 MP ultrawide sensor features an f/2.2 aperture, while a 10 MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture offers 3x optical zoom. Both the outer cover and inner flexible screen house identical 10 MP front cameras for video calls and selfies.
Samsung equips the flagship with a custom 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Memory configurations span 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage, stepping up to 16GB of RAM with 1TB of storage for the top tier model. Power comes from a 5000 mAh Silicon Carbon battery that supports 45W wired charging and 20W wireless charging speeds.
