Thrustmaster T GT III Direct Drive Wheel Launches for Gran Turismo 7

Thrustmaster has introduced the T GT III direct drive racing wheel bundle, officially licensed for PlayStation and Gran Turismo 7. The setup brings a direct axial drive wheelbase paired with a pressure sensing load cell pedal set for realistic simulation. The full package retails for 749.99 USD, with regional availability spanning Europe, the UK, and Japan.

The T GT III uses a direct axial drive motor built to deliver realistic force feedback during gameplay. The base maintains a constant torque output of 5 N m, with peak forces reaching up to 10 N m during heavy steering resistance. Vibration systems simulate mechanical sensations such as gear shifts and low frequency engine rumble directly into the rim. Thrustmaster also confirmed ongoing firmware and software updates designed to align with future Gran Turismo 7 patches.

The steering wheel comes wrapped in genuine leather and features 4 rotary encoders for making on the fly car adjustments during a race. This bundle marks the first time Thrustmaster has packaged a pressure sensing pedal set directly in the box for a Gran Turismo licensed system. The load cell design measures physical braking force rather than pedal travel distance, allowing drivers to build muscle memory for consistent braking zones.

The Thrustmaster T GT III package is priced at 749.99 USD in North America. International pricing is set at 699.99 euros across Europe, 649.99 British pounds in the United Kingdom, and 136,400 Japanese yen. The bundle includes the direct drive motor base, the leather steering rim, and the pressure sensitive pedal set ready for setup.
