UGREEN Launches U500 11 in 1 USB4 Docking Station with 115W Power Delivery

UGREEN has released the U500, an upgraded 11 in 1 USB4 docking station offering 40Gbps total bandwidth and 115W laptop charging. The unit supports video output up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz alongside high speed 2.5GbE wired networking. The dock is now available in China for 699 yuan, which converts to roughly $97 USD.

UGREEN divides the 40Gbps shared bandwidth across multiple connections. The downstream USB4 port operates at 20Gbps, delivering 8K video at 60Hz or high refresh rate 4K video at 240Hz. This port also outputs 7.5W of power for smaller accessories. The package includes a dedicated Type C to DisplayPort cable to connect external monitors immediately.

Power input relies on the PD 3.1 standard supporting up to 140W. The upstream USB4 port routes up to 115W directly to a host laptop, while the downstream port supplies 7.5W for phones or tablets. For internet access, the unit includes a 2.5GbE ethernet port that automatically switches between 2500, 1000, and 100Mbps connection speeds.

A top mounted power button controls system power with a quick press. A dual color status light indicates active display modes, glowing white for dual screen USB4 setups and orange for single screen DisplayPort alt mode.
