The leak, courtesy of MySmartPrice, suggests that the vanilla Galaxy S23 will start at ₹79,999 ($981), the Galaxy S23+ at ₹89,999 ($1,104), and the Galaxy S23 Ultra at a hefty ₹114,999 ($1,410).

Galaxy S23 Series Indian Pricing Breakdown:

  • Samsung Galaxy S23 (8GB RAM, 128GB Storage): ₹79,999 ($981)
  • Samsung Galaxy S23+ (8GB RAM, 128GB Storage): ₹89,999 ($1,104)
  • Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (8GB RAM, 256GB Storage): ₹114,999 ($1,410)

This marks a price increase of ₹7,000 ($86) for the base Galaxy S23 and ₹5,000 ($61) for both the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra compared to their predecessors.

While some of the upgrades in the Galaxy S23 series, such as the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, might justify the higher price, it remains to be seen how consumers will react to the increased cost, especially given the current economic climate.
