Affordable realme 13 Pro+ Boasts Two Advanced Cameras

The new mid-range realme 13 Pro and realme 13 Pro+ smartphones prioritize photography. Both phones also feature high refresh rate screens, powerful Snapdragon processors, ample storage, and large batteries with fast charging support.

The realme 13 Pro+ stands out as the first smartphone to utilize the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 sensor for its main camera. It's also the first to include a 3x telephoto camera with a 50-megapixel 1/2-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor. Notably, both modules benefit from optical image stabilization. A more modest 8-megapixel ultrawide camera completes the setup.

Meanwhile, the standard realme 13 Pro features a main camera with the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor and the same ultrawide camera as its Pro+ sibling. Both smartphones offer AI-powered image enhancement and editing features, object removal, audio zoom, and a dedicated night mode.

Beyond the Cameras

Beyond the camera differences, both phones share identical specifications. They sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The 5200 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging on the 13 Pro and a remarkable 80W on the 13 Pro+. Storage options go up to 512GB and both devices have IP65 dust and water resistance.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing for the realme 13 Pro begins at $320 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The realme 13 Pro+ starts at $395 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. As of this writing, only an Indian release has been confirmed. Stay tuned for announcements regarding availability in other regions.
