Life simulator inZOI, a potential competitor to The Sims, has delayed its Early Access release to March 28, 2025.

The life simulation game inZOI, positioned as a competitor to The Sims, has delayed its Early Access release to March 28, 2025. Originally planned for a 2024 launch, the delay was announced by inZOI Director and Producer Kjun on Discord.

Sims Competitor inZOI Delayed to March 2025 Early Access

"After reviewing your feedback...and analyzing...data...we have made our decision to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025...This decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start."

The delay comes as a disappointment to fans, especially after the positive reception of the inZOI: Character Studio demo released in August. The demo showcased the game's hyper-realistic character customization, a feature often lacking in The Sims without mods.

Kjun offered a unique analogy for the delay:

"It is said that among primates...raising a human child...takes the longest time...The extra love and care...is how I see our journey with inZOI—a game that we will be nurturing together..."

The future availability of the Character Studio demo remains uncertain, with no official announcement from KRAFTON or the inZOI development team.
