Aspire 14 AI Laptops: Sharper, Smarter, and More Choices Than Ever

Acer Aspire A14 AI Laptop with OLED Display

Do you remember the Acer Aspire 14 AI. Acer is taking things to the next level at Computex 2025, widening the lineup with even more AMD and Intel processor possibilities. If it's an AI Copilot+ PC you're in the market for, the possibilities just got a lot more interesting. And good news for display enthusiasts – an OLED screen possibility is now on the cards across these new announcements.

Under the Hood: Intel and AMD Power for Team Intel

For Team Intel, the Aspire A14 AI will be powered by the latest Lunar Lake processors. You'll have an option that starts with the Core Ultra 5 226V, moves up through the Core Ultra 5 228V and Core Ultra 7 256V, and tops out in the premium Core Ultra 7 258V.

If you're an AMD fan, Acer's got your back with the new Ryzen AI "Krackan Point" processors. You have the option of the Ryzen AI 7 350 and the Ryzen AI 5 340, which come with Radeon 860M and Radeon 840M strong integrated graphics, respectively.

AI Smarts and Sleek Design

Whichever chip you choose, these Aspire A14 AI laptops are Microsoft Copilot+ PCs. Acer is also adding its own list of AI enhancements, including Acer Sense, PurifiedVoice 2.0 for clearer calls, PurifiedView 2.0 for better webcam imaging, and tools like Acer Assist, VisionArt, and LiveArt 2.0. Build quality gets the thumbs up too, with an aluminum chassis and 180-degree rotating hinge for flexible viewing angles.

This beauty boasts an FHD+ resolution, a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, full 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification. Iconia Tablets: AI Features for Working, Learning, and Playing

New Acer Iconia Tablets with TUV Certified Displays

Acer did not forget about tablets. They introduced two new Android-powered tablets at Computex: the Iconia Tab P11 and the Iconia Tab M10. The tablets are designed for families, students, and casual users and offer a mix of entertainment capabilities and AI-powered productivity tools, while still focusing on eye safety with TÜV-certified displays.

Meet the New Iconia Duo

Both tablets will come with Android 14 and are aimed at being affordable but feature-packed additions to Acer's Android family.

The Iconia Tab P11 is the higher-end of the two. It has an 11-inch WUXGA IPS display and a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The excitement lies in the AI features, such as Acer's "AI Summary" for summarizing information quickly and "Text-to-Speech" for reading aloud hands-free – perfect for studying or multitasking. Entertainment-wise, it has a quad-speaker setup and that eyes-friendly TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Certified display.

The Iconia Tab M10 comes with a somewhat smaller 10.1-inch screen, making it a great on-the-go companion. It is also powered by a MediaTek MT8768 processor that is more than happy to deal with everyday tasks like web browsing, reading, or media viewing. Although its camera and audio specs are a bit lower than the P11, it still has key family features like the expandable storage and TÜV-certified display.

Both tablets are preloaded with Google Kids Space and digital wellbeing features, so they would be a suitable option for shared home use.

Predator Orion 3000: A New Gaming Desktop Roars to Life

Predator Orion 3000: A New Gaming Desktop Roars to Life

Acer Predator Orion 3000 Gaming Desktop

PC gamers, Acer hasn't forgotten about you. They've revealed the Predator Orion 3000, a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at the mid-range market. It's packed with some solid hardware from Intel and Nvidia and those signature Predator elements, such as tempered glass side panels to show off your components.

Inside the Beast

The Predator Orion 3000 will be driven by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F "Arrow Lake" desktop CPU. The processor features 8 P-cores and 12 E-cores. The "F" in its naming signifies that it doesn't have integrated graphics, so all your graphical grunt will be provided by the discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU alone. The system is powered by an 850 Watt PSU, which seems quite lavish for this combination of parts.

As for cooling, Acer hasn't said what kind of CPU cooler it uses, but there are 120mm fans at the front and rear of the case. The front fan even sports that trendy Predator logo on it. Up front, you'll also find two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. Around back are an RJ45 Ethernet jack, three 3.5mm audio jacks, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and two more USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.

Memory maxes out at 32GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and it's unclear if you can add more. Here's an odd choice: the Predator Orion 3000 also comes with just a single 2TB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive. While there are two M.2 slots for future SSD installation of speedy SSDs, it's a bit surprising not to see an SSD as the primary boot drive in a modern gaming desktop. As for wireless connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 7, but Bluetooth doesn't seem to be present.

Availability and Price

The Acer Predator Orion 3000 will be on sale in July 2025, with prices starting at €1,299 (which is about $1,455 USD).

Swift Go 16 AI: Lunar Lake Performance Meets Breathtaking OLED

Swift Go 16 AI: Lunar Lake Performance Meets Breathtaking OLED

Acer Swift Go 16 AI Laptop with 120Hz OLED Display

Acer is also refreshing its top-selling Swift Go line with the new Swift Go 16 AI. Unveiled at Computex 2025 in Taiwan, the next-generation laptop packs more powerful Intel Lunar Lake processors, following the lead of last year's version. And that gorgeous 120Hz OLED display is a highlight.

What's New and Improved

The biggest change is within. The Swift Go 16 AI is driven by the newest Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 258V or the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor 228V. Both chips are AI-capable with 47 and 40 TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second) from their NPUs (Neural Processing Units), respectively. This processing is paired with Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD.

Acer is offering a couple of display choices for the Swift Go 16 AI. The star of the show is the 16-inch OLED screen with a 2048 x 1280 resolution, an absurdly smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. For those who prefer something different, there's also the option of a 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage, which is still great for content creation.

In terms of size, the laptop itself measures 355.5 x 250.64 x 15.99 mm and weighs around 1.6 kg. There's a good selection of ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two Thunderbolt 4, a microSD card reader, and an HDMI port. Some other notable specs include a 64Wh battery, FHD (1080p) IR webcam, dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Acer's suite of AI enhancements including Purified Voice 2.0, Purified View 2.0, Acer Assist, and Acer Sense.

Colors, Price, and When to Expect It

Acer Swift Go 16 AI will be available in aluminum and titanium gray colors. It will arrive at European shores in August 2025, priced from €1,299.

Gaming Monitors: Predator and Nitro Lineup Get New Additions

Gaming Monitors: Predator and Nitro Lineup Get New Additions

Acer Predator X27U F5 Gaming Monitor

Gamers, Acer didn't overlook your monitors. They've expanded their gaming monitor lineup at Computex 2025 with three new models – two from the high-end Predator series and one from the popular Nitro series. Get ready for high refresh rates and great visuals.

The Predator Duo: X27U F5 and X27 X

First on the list is the Predator X27U F5. The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel that is promised to provide rich colors and dark blacks. It has a native brightness of 300 nits with a peak of 1,000 nits, along with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. But the real pièce de résistance for competitive gamers is that it possesses a very fast 500Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth and responsive gaming on its WQHD panel.

The next Predator monitor on our list is the X27 X. It also uses a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel but with a slightly less native brightness of 250 nits. While its refresh rate is a still-quick 240Hz, this panel takes the resolution up to a crisp 4K. These two Predator screens both have AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and a quick 0.03ms (GTG) response time.

Nitro PG271K: Portable Gaming Flexibility

The third new screen is the Nitro PG271K. Acer is positioning this as a portable solution for gamers who want a flexible secondary screen. It's a 27-inch IPS display that can operate in two modes: 4K at 72Hz or FHD (1080p) at 144Hz. Acer is promoting its small footprint and is highlighting that its IPS panel offers accurate color representation.

Pricing and Launch Dates

  • The Acer Predator X27U F5 will be available in July 2025 for €899.
  • The Acer Predator X27 X will be available in July 2025 for €1,099.
  • The Nitro PG271K will be available in September 2025 for €499.

PD243Y E: Dual-Screen Portable Monitor for Productivity Powerhouses

Acer PD243Y E Dual-Screen Portable Monitor

Need more screen real estate on the go. Acer has just announced the PD243Y E at Computex 2025, a rather unconventional dual-screen portable monitor. Imagine two displays stacked vertically side by side, connected by a hinge, and prepared to boost your productivity wherever you may be.

Double Your View

The Acer PD243Y E is built for versatility. Its 315-degree folding design makes it a genuinely portable option for mobile professionals. It can be positioned with both screens in a vertical orientation or folded for a more readable angle using its foldable kickstand.

It features two 23.8-inch IPS displays, both with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The displays sport a 100Hz refresh rate and 4ms (GTG) response time for flicker-free images, as well as wide 178-degree viewing angles. The displays offer 16.7 million colors and 72% NTSC color gamut coverage.

Connectivity is through two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, and an audio-out port. It even has built-in 2W dual speakers and VESA wall mounting support in case you're interested in a more stationary setup.

When and How Much

Aspire 16 AI: Triple Threat with Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon

Acer Aspire 16 AI Laptops with Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon options

Acer isn't holding back on the AI theme with its new Aspire 16 AI lineup. The interesting thing here is that they're offering three varying processor options under this one 16-inch form factor: Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen AI, and even Snapdragon X platforms. This gives consumers a real option based on their needs for performance and battery life while experiencing some AI-focused features.

A Platform for Everyone

The Intel-powered Aspire 16 AI (A16-52M/52MT) will feature up to Core Ultra 7 258V processors with Arc Graphics. Acer is touting up to 26 hours of TDP-optimized battery life for these devices.

The AMD variant (A16-61M/61MT) will come with Ryzen AI 7 350 or AI 5 340 processors, featuring Radeon 860M or 840M graphics, respectively.

And for the power users who are ARM-based, the Snapdragon version (A16-11M/11MT) is built on Qualcomm's new Oryon CPU and Adreno GPU. This version boasts a battery life with the longest claimed use time, with video playback of up to 27 hours.

The display options vary slightly with processor types. The Intel and AMD versions of the Aspire 16 AI can be configured with up to a 16-inch OLED WUXGA+ display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon version skips the OLED option, offering LCD WUXGA displays with 100% sRGB or 45% NTSC color gamut instead.

Every configuration boasts an exact same large 16-inch chassis and LPDDR5X memory, along with Acer's suite of AI-enhanced capabilities.

Prices and availability details will be revealed for each Aspire 16 AI configuration near the time of their launch.

Aspire A14 AI Gets an Entry-Level Snapdragon X Option

Acer Aspire A14 AI with Snapdragon X SoC

Adding even more variety to its Aspire A14 AI lineup, Acer is also introducing an ARM-based variant with Qualcomm's entry-level Snapdragon X SoC. This is on top of the already announced Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 300 chip solutions, providing an option for someone aiming at general computing and potentially even better battery life.

Snapdragon Power for Everyday Tasks

This Aspire A14 AI (model A14-11M/A14-11MT) is powered by the Snapdragon X X1-26-100 SoC, which has an Oryon 8-core CPU, Adreno iGPU, and Hexagon NPU. It can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe storage, with a microSD card slot for further expansion.

One of the main differences from its Intel and AMD equivalents is the screen. The Snapdragon X version of the Aspire A14 AI is not equipped with an OLED screen. Instead, you get to choose between a 14-inch FHD+ 120Hz IPS screen with 100% sRGB coverage or one with 45% NTSC coverage.

Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Interestingly, the IR webcam is bumped up to QHD+ resolution with Windows Hello and temporal noise reduction support.

Acer is also being ambitious with battery life on this one: its 65Whr battery is supposedly capable of lasting up to a massive 28 hours of video playback and 17 hours of web browsing.

The PD163QT is designed to be versatile. It can stand alone in portrait or landscape mode with its integrated stand and even in 'tent' mode, where a person on the other side of the table can use one of its screens. Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 AI Gaming Laptop

Acer is also catering to gamers who want power in a compact form factor with the new Predator Helios Neo 14 AI, which was launched at Computex 2025. The laptop attempts to achieve a balance between portability and performance by cramming high-end Intel and Nvidia components into a compact chassis.

Balancing Act: Thermals and Performance

To manage thermals in the smaller chassis, the Predator Helios Neo 14 AI is equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 or RTX 5060 laptop GPUs. Powerful though they are, their 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM might get taxed to the limit by the laptop's staggering display options. And what options they are - you can get a stunning 14.5-inch 2.8K WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) OLED screen with a speedy 0.2ms response time and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. On the CPU side, you'll get an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H or Core Ultra 7 255H, so you won't be CPU-bottlenecked.

Alternatively, you can go for the display with WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, and 3ms response time. Nvidia Advanced Optimus is featured on both display configurations to enable seamless switching between integrated and discrete GPUs. Acer offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7647 RAM and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD for memory and storage, along with an extra SSD slot for expansion.

The rest of the specs include a 1080p webcam with IR sensor, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 76Wh battery. There are ample I/O options, such as a single Thunderbolt 4.0 port, a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

More affordable versions will start with the Core Ultra 5 225H and Core Ultra 7 255H. This is paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, and there are two M.2 slots in case you wish to add storage in the future.

The display is a highlight for content producers: a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display. It's a touch display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. Acer is keen to point out that the OLED display is Calman-certified, offers 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and offers 340 nits of brightness. At the top of the display, you'll find an FHD webcam and an IR blaster for Windows Hello and two microphones.

Acer has also performed some design tweaks on the new Swift X 14. The thin aluminum chassis now also has a larger trackpad. The port selection remains comprehensive, with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two Type-A ports, an HDMI out, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card reader, and a Kensington lock port. A large 74Wh battery is onboard, and it will be interesting to see if Acer has been able to improve runtimes over the previous generation.
