Elden Ring Nightreign Ultimate Rune Farming Guide Maximize Gains and Gear Up for Nightlord Slaying in Two Days

Elden Ring Nightreign Two Day Rune Farming and Nightlord Prep Strategy

Everyone knows how it goes in Elden Ring, Nightreign. Just two short days to transform from a fresh-faced Tarnished into a Nightlord-slaying machine. It's not just runes, though; you need a good weapon too-hopes of some upgrades, maybe passive bonuses, and a pocketful of useful items. It's all gone in a whirl, and time is really precious!

Forget on-the-couch Albinauric-slapping days gone by in good old Lands Between. Nightreign demands a sharper plan. You can't even camp a Site of Grace; enemies don't come back here for round two. Each moment counts, and every rune earned is a step closer to victory.

Good news! I've probably run through this runes-grinding rabbit trail more times than I can remember, and I picked up a few tricks to really boost your rune income as far as that goes. But, more importantly, I plotted out quite a slick route to balance rune farming with just all the rest of the important things you have to do before facing that dreaded Nightlord.

Maximizing your haul-for-his-rune: Smart Tactics for Nightreign

A relic that increases runes acquire in Elden Ring Nightreign

Time to Let Go Before Going on this Run: So, some last few tips for how to paint an all-inclusive view of every slain enemy.:

  • Ancient Artifacts Power-Up: Have an "Increased rune acquisition for self and allies" relic? Slap it on in the Roundtable Hold before you even start your run. If you're rolling with a squad and everyone has one, you're golden! These bad boys seem to stack per player, so don't be shy about equipping multiples if you find them.
  • Golden Feast Before Bosses: Those Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet are your best friends. Pop one just before a boss bites the dust. Got a relic that shares item effects with nearby allies? Even better – spread the wealth!; Glimmering Bushes Speaks of the Shining at Those Bushes with Golden Fireflies: Don't just run past! Touching them gives a temporary buff for increased rune gain. Perfect for clearing regulars.
  • Article Scarab and Extra Buffs : Finding a Gold Scarab talisman from those skittering scarabs is a bit of a near-miss lottery, but it is absolutely great as a get-rich-quick charm from luck. Also watch for buffs to increase rune income after defeating bosses-these options are always appreciated.

Your Two-Day Plan for Rune Riches and Nightlord Readiness

Given that, how I would run those two days in Nightreign maximizing runes while gearing up:

Day One: Building Your Foundation

An Evergaol, a solid source of runes in Nightreign: Firstly Hit a Fort: Clear the enemies and the boss. This will give you a good early level up; furthermore, it should give you a good chance of snagging a Stonesword Key from the chest at the top and a map in an upstairs room that reveals talisman scarabs nearby.

Church Stop: If a church is close, make a pit-stop. For one, you can nab a flask upgrade and possibly some Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet and useful consumables like Boiled Crab and Exalted Flesh.

Boss Blitz: Now it’s time to hunt! Target encampments, cathedrals, and ruins, focusing on locations marked with the symbol matching the Nightlord’s weakness-you’re more likely to find a weapon with the right affinity there. Always search for weapons and Stonesword Keys behind the altar and Sacred Seals having healing spells.

Evergaol Bonanza: End Day One using those Stonesword Keys on any Evergaols you can reach. Don't forget to consume a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot before fight ends – for hefty rune rewards (10,000, 20,000, or even 30,000 extra runes!) Evergaols reward).

Boss Prep for Night One: Before you take down the first night boss, save a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot and will use it just before you hit the last blow to get that sweet rune bonus.

Day Two: The Great Enemy Hunt

Target those Great Enemies: Day two is dedicated for hunting Great Enemy roaming bosses on the map (little monster face icons). These drop tons of runes and excellent weapons, in case you still seek some. They're tough, though-probably level 7 or so depending on the boss. Commonly, Huge Great Enemies can be found in areas surrounding the Crater, such as Fallingstar Beast and Valiant Gargoyle.

Last Call for Churches & Evergaols: As you continue hunting, visit any remaining churches to grab some last Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet (for those Great Enemy take downs) and extra flask charges for the final customer showdown. Utilize all left Stonesword Keys on the Evergaols.

Final Night Boss Bonus: As the former night, have one last Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot ready for the night two boss. Use it before the fight ends to maximize your rune gain.

The exact path will vary by map layout, but the overall idea is fort, encampment, ruins, cathedral and smashing of Evergaols on day one. Track those roaming Great Enemies on day two, and if those Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet are timed just right, you'll be rolling in runes and ready for whatever the Nightlord has in store. Good luck and may your pockets overflow with runes
