HP Unveils New OmniBook 5 Series with Snapdragon X and Impressive Features
HP has just launched its latest OmniBook 5 series. So what's all the fuss about. These PCs feature Qualcomm Snapdragon X and X Plus chips, with excellent battery life thanks to that ARM architecture, and they won't cost an arm and a leg.
What Makes the OmniBook 5 Special
Apart from the fast ARM processors, HP is getting the package more attractive with some pretty awesome features for a "budget" label. We are talking about stunning OLED screens, an eye candy. Additionally, the laptops come pre-enabled with the Copilot Plus AI feature suite support, bringing you smart assistance at your fingertips.
You'll receive either a 14-inch or 16-inch display, both sporting a crisp 1440p resolution. Need more screen real estate. These systems can handle it, allowing you to connect up to two 4K monitors or even one 5K monitor.
HP hasn't forgotten video calls, either. The latest OmniBooks include a webcam with Windows Hello support, allowing you to log in using your face. There's also AI-enhanced audio features and noise reduction so your video conferencing sounds better and more professional.
When Can You Get It and How Much
If you are in the US, don't forget to recall June, when these laptops will finally be in stores. The 14-inch version will start at a relatively unobjectionable $799, and the larger 16-inch will start at $849. To put this in perspective, HP's current ARM-based laptops are typically in the neighborhood of the $1000 mark, so this appears to be a significant step towards getting this technology in a more affordable package.
It seems HP is attempting to make a compelling offer for individuals who want the newest features, reasonable battery life, and AI awesomeness without breaking the bank. The OmniBook 5 series could be worth looking out for.
