Intel Arc B750 Listing on Official Website Stirs Battlemage GPU Speculation
An unusual listing of an "Arc B750" on Intel's official Japanese website has inspired interest from the tech community, stirring a wave of speculations. Even though Intel has not made any official statement about such a GPU, this unexpected reference may imply yet another launch to their Battlemage lineup.
What is the Story behind the Arc B750 Reference.
It was stumbled upon by a user @Haze2K1, who discovered the Arc B750 name still active on Intel Japan's website. Naturally, tongues began to wag. Is Intel secretly developing a new challenger for the graphics card market. Rumors certainly have been floating around about Battlemage GPUs more powerful than the existing Arc B580, but most of those rumors involved a potential Arc B770.
The Arc B750, on the other hand, has been a much less frequent target of rumor and speculation, so it was a shock to see it appear on an official website. But there's more to it. Although the text "Arc B750" is literally on screen, the page itself gives no exciting details about the card. Indeed, if you try clicking on the specs, it takes you to the page for the Arc B570. This has led many, including @Haze2K1, to wonder whether "B750" was a typo and should be "B570." This discrepancy currently appears to only appear on the Japanese website of Intel.
A Typo, or Something More.
So is it just an error, a crossed wires scenario in the digital world. It's possible. But the fact that there is an explicit reference to the name "Arc B750" even if the link goes somewhere else leaves room for conjecture open. It's not usually the case that an unreleased product name shows up on a company's official web site.
Keep in mind that this does not automatically imply Intel abandoned intentions for more potent Battlemage cards outside of the Arc B580 and B570. The firm recently demonstrated its BMG-G21-based Arc Pro 60 GPU for professional duties at Computex, and there have been rumors of an unconfirmed, 24GB variant of the Arc B580. Intel has also hinted at interest in bringing more powerful Battlemage options to market, but they've kept back from any concrete confirmations.
What Could a B750 or B770 Be.
If Intel were to expand its Battlemage gaming series further, an Arc B750 and/or B770 would be natural evolutionary steps for the Alchemist-generation Arc A750 and A770. We would anticipate these cards to have a minimum of 16GB of VRAM on a 256-bit memory bus, and a larger GPU die in order to fit in more cores. There have been leaks suggesting that a hypothetical B770 could utilize a BMG-G31 GPU die and feature 32 Xe2 cores, up from the 20 cores in the B580. An Arc B750 would likely sit between the B570 and this speculative B770.
Intel is also, of course, working on its future graphics architectures, Xe3 (Celestial) – for Panther Lake processors – and already looking toward Xe4 (Druid). But unveiling new B700-series Battlemage graphics might be a strategic move to add muscle to their current gaming lineup before leaping to Celestial.
Waiting for Word from Intel
So far, Intel has not announced the Arc B750 on their website. It might be more apparent in the coming weeks, especially with tech events having a tendency to announce new stuff. Computex 2025 was actually a springboard for Intel's new GPUs, so the true potential of another Battlemage announcement isn't entirely off the table.
For the moment, the Intel Arc B750 is a promising mystery. Is it the big new thing from Team Blue, or just a fleeting digital hiccup. Only time, and perhaps an official announcement from Intel, will tell.
