Motorola may well have the solution-it's new Moto G86 Power. This phone is indeed not only promising about good battery life but carries an impressive 6,720 mAh battery. What's more. There're plenty of other really cool things: waterproofness, bright pOLED display-all for an offer at a very tempting €329.
Moto G86 5G was also introduced to the lineup of Moto G's new releases, yet exclusive from the Moto G56 5G with the G86 being the standard and the G86 Power, which as Motorola calls it, is meant to focus more on the power part of power features. This is one of the designs that is completely fresh from the older Moto G85 5G. Think flat screens and colorful backs with a stylish leather texture.
The standard Moto G86 5G keeps it relatively slim at 7.87 millimeters and light at 185 grams but settles for a still respectable 5,200 mAh battery. However, if battery is king for you, then the Moto G86 Power is the one to watch.
At just a little thicker (8.65mm) and heavier (198g), that price is very low for that gigantic 6,720 mAh battery. Both smartphones charge at 30 watts maximum via USB-C. Outside of the differences in battery dimensions and physical size, these two mid-rangers were practically twins.
Durability has not been spared by Motorola. Both G86 models come with water-resistant housing and Gorilla Glass 7i to prevent scratches. For visuals, this 6.67-inch pOLED can entertain you with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and be as bright as 4,500 nits peak HDR brightness so viewing shouldn't be too much of a problem under bright sunlight.
For security, the fingerprint sensor is neatly tucked under the display, and a modern punch-hole cutout will house a 32MP selfie camera.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset powers the G86 series. This processor features a combination of four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores (clocking up to 2.5 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, which should lead to a good balance of power and battery conservation.
There exist two in one camera on the backside. There is a primary 50MP f/1.88 camera with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera for macro shots in its wake.
Soon, the Moto G86 5G will hit stall shelves along with 8GB of RAM, together with 256GB of storage for £280.00 or €299. A good bunch of colorful choices will be offered: Chrysanthemum (a striking red), Cypress (an olive green), Spellbound (a deep dark blue), or Cosmic Sky (a lovely lavender).
