OnePlus Pad 2 Pro: Smartphone Power, Immersive Screen
OnePlus is making tablet waves with the launch of their Pad 2 Pro. If you're looking for a tablet that has smartphone-level power and a large, immersive screen, this one's a good bet. And the icing on the cake. It's not very pricey considering what it can offer.
A Feast for Your Eyes: The Display
The first thing you're likely to notice is the huge 13.2-inch IPS screen. Not only is it huge, but it's also crisp, at a resolution of 3392x2400 pixels (an unusual 7:5 aspect ratio). And with a maximum brightness of 900 nits, pictures should really pop. OnePlus also claims its color accuracy at 98% DCI-P3 and 96% NTSC coverage, so you get vibrant and realistic colors. And yes, that super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate is in there for silky scrolling and gaming.
Under the Hood: Powerhouse Performance
What drives this operation. OnePlus has equipped the Pad 2 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This "elite" processor, combined with options of 8GB, 12GB, or even generous 16GB of RAM, suggests that this tablet is geared for high-demand use and effortless multitasking. Storage will never be an issue, with the options of 256GB or 512GB.
Capturing Moments and Staying Powered
For your photo and video call needs, there's a 13-megapixel main camera at the rear and an 8-megapixel camera at the front. But perhaps one of the most impressive specs is the battery – a whopping 12,140 mAh. That should easily get you through a day of heavy use, and when you do need to top it up, the 67W fast charging will have you good to go in record time.
OnePlus also spoke of a magnetic Bluetooth keyboard for the Pad 2 Pro, although it's a proprietary accessory you will have to buy separately.
