Asus just put out their new mini PC, the ExpertCenter PN54. It's built for today and has local speed-up for AI models. This helps keep data safe and secure. You can buy the PN54 right now from Asus's web shop.

You can get the PN54 in a few ways:

  • Barebone Version: Starts at $589, comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU. This one has no RAM or place to store stuff.
  • APU Add: For another $110, you get an AMD Ryzen AI 5 350 CPU.
  • Best Model: Costs $1100. This has an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

The PN54 is small, sized at 130 x 130 x 34 millimeters and has a weight of 550 grams (no RAM or SSD yet). Key parts include:

  • RAM: Takes up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM in two slots (you can put these in or change them).
  • Storage: Has a spot for an M.2 2280 SSD that you can swap out.
  • Network: Comes with a WiFi 6E card and two 2.5 GBit/s Ethernet slots.
  • Ports:
    • Lots of USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (front and back).
    • One USB 4 port at the back, can do image output and USB Power Delivery (PD) up to 100 watts. This lets the mini PC run off a compatible screen.
    • One HDMI 2.1 port.
    • Two DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

The Asus ExpertCenter PN54 also has:

  • Sound: Two built-in speakers, each putting out 2 watts.
  • Safety & Easy Use: A fingerprint scanner for safe sign-ins.
  • AI Reach: A special Copilot button to turn on an AI helper fast.

The PN54 wants to be a small but strong computer choice, looking at new AI uses.
