Gigabyte has just rolled out its new M27UP, a 27-inch game screen built with smart dual-res power. Players can flip from a sharp 4K view to a very fast 1080p (Full HD) mode, each fit for different game plays.
The M27UP gives two kinds of play modes:
- 4K Mode: Shows great pictures at a 160Hz refresh speed, best for deep AAA games where every detail counts.
- Full HD Mode: Boosts the refresh rate to a cool 320Hz. In this setting, the screen cuts to 24 inches, and you can pick shape sizes like 4:3 or 5:4, liked by some pro shooter game fans.
You can switch modes with one hit of the Tactical Switch 2.0.
The M27UP has many parts for a great game feel:
- Color True: It covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color range and backs DisplayHDR 400 for live and right colors.
- Fast: A quick 1ms (GtG) response cuts down blur.
- AI Picture Mode: This sets up light, dark, and sharp parts as per what shows on the screen. Six set modes (FPS, MOBA, Movie, Racing, RPG, and Reader) are there too.
- Smart OD: This changes the drive as per the refresh rate, cuts blur and shadow shapes a lot.
- Smooth Play: Full G-SYNC help stops tearing, great with the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series cards with DLSS 4.
The M27UP is ready for many setups:
- It has a no-fan cool style for no noise.
- Built-in KVM switch for easy use of many devices.
- Ports have a USB Type-C (with up to 45W power help), two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.0, a USB Type-B, and a 3.5mm sound out.
- Built-in dual 5W speakers let sound play without other parts.
Gigabyte will set the price for the M27UP later.
