Ninja Gaiden 4 has finally been announced, and all we can talk about is the date set for October 21. After almost fifteen years in waiting, the bomb was dropped during the recent Xbox Games Showcase, with pre-order details underway for PC, PS5, and Xbox.

They are available in both Standard and Deluxe, but there is a slight hiccup that has made the rounds Walmart briefly listed the PS5 Standard Edition for a staggering $999.99 Most other retailers are more reasonably offering it for an equally reasonable $69.99 for the standard and $89.99 for the deluxe. Phew
So for what extra cash are you getting Standard Edition Ninja Gaiden 4 at $69.99 gets you the game plus the pre-order bonus-the darkness skin of the "Dark Dragon Descendant Yakumo." Xbox owners, please note that for this installment, disc versions appear to be available through PS5 only, while Xbox games are leaning into digital for Play Anywhere titles.
But if you're craving something extra nefarious, the Deluxe Editions at $89.99 maneuvers the standard digital download plus:

- The "Divine Chimera Yakumo" weapon set, as all ninjas must have, cool gear.

The path of Ninja Gaiden 4 does not allow us the pleasure of playing a legendary protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. Introduced in the Ninja Gaiden 4, Yakumo is a younger one. This choice has been bold, and fans surely cannot wait to see what this new hero brings to the buckle-and-gash combat that the series is popular for. Koei Tecmo games are known for their gnarly confrontations, and this one has set our high expectations.
The hype is real. After such a lengthy interval, the Ninja Gaiden community is aflame with anticipation to finally see what challenges and thrills await in Ninja Gaiden 4. Save the date October 21-the way of the ninja returns.
