Asus Lets Out Tough ExpertBook P3 Series Notebooks

Asus has put out two new notebooks, the ExpertBook P3 P3405CVA and P3605CVA. These are made to last and to grow. Both types hold MIL-STD 810H marks, which means they can put up with hard weather.

Main Points and Hard Build

These two kinds are not the same in size and chip, but both focus on a strong build and easy-to-swap parts.

  • Chips: The P3405CVA gets an Intel Core i5-13420H, while the P3605CVA has an Intel Core i7-13620H.
  • Screen: The P3405 has a 14-inch screen, and the P3605 has a 16-inch one. Both have a 1920 x 1200 look, 300 cd/m² light, and 45% NTSC color space.
  • Memory: Both come with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, with a chance to boost it up to 64 GB.
  • Storage: They all have a 512 GB M.2 2280 SSD built-in, and there's an extra M.2 2230 slot for more space.
  • Toughness: MIL-STD 810H means they can take on harsh heat, rain, hits, and wet.

Ways to Hook Up and Body Traits

The ways to plug in and link up are the same in both, fit for work needs.

  • Sockets: Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and one HDMI 2.1 for video.
  • Links: Comes with an own Ethernet socket, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0.
  • Battery and Power: A 63 Wh battery runs the tools, which can be charged at 65-watt via USB-C, no need for its own power plug.
  • Weight: The 14-inch P3405CVA is 1.36 kg, and the bigger 16-inch P3605CVA is 1.75 kg.

Cost Info

The first price for the base ExpertBook P3 series will be close to $800. Asus will share more on the different builds and costs when they start selling them.
