Xbox Shares News on Grounded 2 Game and a Big Red Ant Plushie Contest
To push the new Game Preview of Obsidian Entertainment's Grounded 2, Xbox is running a cool contest. The top win is a huge, 10-foot-long plush toy made like the Red Ant Buggy in the game. The game starts on Xbox Series S|X, PC, Xbox Cloud, and Steam Early Access. It will also be on Xbox Game Pass.
How to Get in the Grounded 2 Contest
You can only win this big plush toy by joining in the real contest. Here are the ways:
- How to Join: Follow the main Xbox account on X (once called Twitter) or Instagram and drop a comment on the contest post with the tag #Grounded2Sweepstakes.
- Contest Time: This game will go on until August 31, 2025.
- See in Person: If you go to Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, you can see the full-size plush toy at the Xbox Fanfest on August 20.
Aaron Greenberg, Vice Boss of Games Marketing, said the win is, "part chair, part pal, and all great."

The next game adds to the first, which drew over 15 million players. Grounded 2 makes players small and puts them in Brookhollow Public Park, a place almost three times larger than the first game’s yard.
A big new thing is they now have rideable animals called "Buggies," like Orb Weavers and Red Ant Soldiers. This was a big want from fans of the first. As Greenberg said, "The biggest want from the Grounded fans is the heart of the new game."

The game can be bought in two types and works with Xbox Play Anywhere, keeping the save and play spot between Xbox and PC.

- Founder's: $39.99 (has four cool skins, a digital art book, the soundtrack, and custom moves).
Coming Updates and Where You Can Play
The Game Preview start will see new big content every few months. While it’s now only on Xbox and PC, Obsidian Entertainment might later bring it to PlayStation or Nintendo, like the first Grounded.
