HUAWEI Unveils Flagship Pura 80 Series for the World Market
HUAWEI has now brought its top Pura 80 phone series to everyone, with its start in Dubai. This group, with Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra, focuses on top camera technology, very bright screens, and strong quick-charging abilities.
Look and Lasting Build
The Pura 80 series keeps up the brand's known triangle camera setup look. The style is drawn from old shiny pottery, making the outer part shine. More than just looks, lasting build matters too. The Pura 80 Ultra has a titanium body and gets help from second-gen Kunlun Glass, said by HUAWEI to be 25 times drop-proof and 16 times scratch-proof over normal glass.
Pura 80 Ultra Top-Level Camera Setup
The main camera of the Pura 80 Ultra has a 1-inch sensor. This sensor goes up to 16 EVs in range, letting it take in great detail in both very bright and dark parts of a snap. It pairs with live TCG-HDR tech to stop washouts while keeping dark detail.
This Ultra version also brings a two-lens telephoto setup in one unit, offering 3.7x and 9.4x zoom. This setup aims for flex, able to take both half-length portraits and zoomed in details.

Pura 80 Pro Smart Adjustable Aperture Power
The Pura 80 Pro uses an inch-type RYYB sensor with a 10-stop adjustable aperture, from wide f/1.6 to f/4.0. This lets the camera smartly change for different light. For example, it can shift to f/1.6 to pull in more light in dark spots or go to f/4.0 to make sure all in a group snap stay clear.
Shared Traits in the Series
Both phones enjoy several common upgrades:
- AI-Boosted Photos: An updated Live Photos mode takes 1.5 seconds of video around a snap. In the album, AI can then make effects like mixed exposure (showing all movement paths) or long exposure (smoothing a busy scene).
- Screen: Both have a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a 1-120Hz changed refresh rate, 2848x1276 resolution, and light peak up to 3000 nits. They also have 1440Hz PWM dimming for eye ease.
- Sound and Ease: An improved dual-speaker system offers strong sound. A new smart button, with a fingerprint scanner, can be set for fast use of the camera or other features.
- AI Gains: AI helps cut noise during calls and boosts the speed and hit rate of fingerprint checks.
- Battery and Power Up: A big 5170 mAh battery runs the devices, with 100W wired and 80W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge support.
