Lenovo Puts Out Fast Legion MicroSD Cards for Legion Y700 Gen 4 Tablet
Lenovo just let out a new set of microSD cards made just for its new gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 Gen 4. These 'Legion high-energy gaming microSD cards' aim to give fast speeds and large room to store, with a release date marked for August 6.
Legion Gaming MicroSD Card: Fast and Roomy
These new microSDXC cards are made to meet the needs of game play on the go. Here are the main points:
- Speed: The cards use a UHS-I bus setup, giving up to 170 MB/s read speeds and 60 MB/s write speeds.
- Class Ratings: They are ranked as V30 and Class 10, fit for taking high-res video and smooth running of apps.
- Sizes: They come in three sizes: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.
A Part of Lenovo's Gaming Gear
These new cards are sold with the Legion Y700 Gen 4, a small gaming tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite brain and an 8.8-inch screen. This is part of Lenovo's move to make a set of gaming gear for the device, like the G9 and G9 Pro controllers that turn the tablet into a game box you can hold in your hands.
How Much and When You Can Get It
Lenovo has set fair prices for these new microSD cards in the Chinese market:
- 256 GB: CNY 159 (~$29)
- 512 GB: CNY 349 (~$49)
- 1 TB: CNY 749 (~$109)
Right now, we don't know if or when these Legion microSD cards will be sold around the world.
