Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet Durability Test Fails Bend Test But Reveals Impressive Cooling System

Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet Put to the Test

The Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet was put through tough tests and taken apart by the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. They found big issues with the screen's strength but also saw a detailed internal cooling setup.

Test Results on Strength

The tablet's strength was pushed from the start of the tests. While the screen got small scratches from a level 6 hardness tool, which is normal for devices, it broke when tested with a level 7 tool. Due to this weak spot, the video maker suggests using a screen protector.

In the bend test, the tablet’s body stayed whole. But, the pressure made the cracks on the front glass get worse and spread.

Inside Look and Cooling Setup

Taking the device apart gave a view of its inside parts, paying extra mind to the way it cools:

  • Heat Out: A graphite film and a small vapor space are connected to the back of the screen setup to send out heat. A cooling paste is put on all key parts.
  • Active Cooling: Like Red Magic phones, this tablet has a tiny cooling fan. The case has no holes on the outside, so the fan only moves air within the sealed body.
  • More Cooling: Another vapor space sits under the main board.
  • Touch Feedback: The tablet has two vibration motors made to give a strong touch response, like in game controllers.

Taking the tablet apart showed a clever inside design, but the test on its strength showed a big weak point in how the screen is made.
