A New "RTX 5050 Ti" Name Spotted on ZOTAC'S Site
The ZOTAC Taiwan site now has a mention of an "RTX 5050 Ti," not yet told by NVIDIA. This could mean NVIDIA wants to grow its cheaper 50-series GPU group. This card might draw more buyers, as AMD also has new RDNA 4 cards.
What We Think We Know
This is the first time we hear of an RTX 5050 Ti. We don't have exact details yet. But we look at the non-Ti RTX 5050 to guess.
- RTX 5050 Known Info: This card has 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, starts at 2.31 GHz, and can go up to 2.57 GHz.
Usually, "Ti" means a card gets better, like more speed or more VRAM. Since 8GB isn't big now, this new 50 Ti might have 16 GB VRAM. It would still use GDDR7, so it stays cheap.
But, this may just be a mistake.
While a new, cheap GPU is big news, this could be wrong. The same ZOTAC page once showed info for a RTX 5060 Ti. Perhaps, the "Ti" was left by accident in the update for RTX 5050, making a fake "RTX 5050 Ti" name.
We need to wait for NVIDIA or a mate to tell us more, so now, the RTX 5050 Ti is just a maybe. It could be a real new thing, or just a site mistake.
