Samsung's three-fold G Flex phone at MWC 2025 |
Why Samsung Hasn't Made a Triple-Folding Phone Yet
Samsung has made a phone that can fold three times, but they are not selling it yet. In a talk with Android Authority, one of their top people said why it's taking so long.
The Main Reason Will People Buy It
A person from Samsung said the idea of a three-fold phone isn't new to them. The big issue is if it will sell well.
"We have made a three-fold phone, so it's not new to us. We are looking into if it will sell," the big boss said. "When I talk about if it will sell, I mean if people really want this type of phone."
The talker also said that people aren't yet pushing them to sell this kind of phone. They can't say for sure if it will be out by 2025 or 2026.
Other Stories The "Galaxy G Fold" Gossip
Other news from The Bell says another story, hinting that a similar phone called the Galaxy G Fold might be coming out soon. According to them, they will start making lots of them in September, and begin to sell them in the last part of the year, but only in Korea and China.
The Bell also shared some possible details about this rumored phone:
- Screen: 10-inch OLED.
- Chip: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
- Cameras:
- 200 MP main camera.
- 3x zoom lens.
- 12 MP wide camera.

- Price Guess: Around $3000.
So, while Samsung waits to see if people really want this triple-folding phone, other news hints that it might be on the way soon, at least in some places.
