A top leaker has backed up talk about the cost and pre-order day of Microsoft’s new Xbox ROG Ally and ROG Ally X handhelds. They shared that pre-orders will start on August 20, just as Gamescom 2025 kicks off.

A French leaker named billbil-kun, backing up past info from Spanish source @extas1s, says the prices and pre-order times for these devices are:
- Xbox ROG Ally (Standard): Leaked at €599.
- Xbox ROG Ally X (Premium): Leaked at €899.
- Pre-Order Day: Set to start on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
A store in Spain that sells these also showed these prices for a bit before removing them.

Big Reveal Set for Gamescom 2025
The big Xbox event at Gamescom 2025, planned at 3:00 PM CEST on August 20, will likely show prices, when you can pre-order, and when they will sell it. They had said "Holiday 2025" before, but not confirmed dates.
If you go to Gamescom from August 20 to 24, you'll first get to try the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X. Plus, the ASUS ROG area will have games like Hollow Knight: Silksong to play.
Worries Over High Prices
While many can't wait, the €899 tag on the ROG Ally X is making some unsure, with some calling it the priciest Xbox yet.
