Xbox Shows Off Gamescom 2025 Games with Playable Hollow Knight: Silksong
Xbox lays out its plans for Gamescom 2025, set to show off over 20 games in two days of showings. People at the event will get to try Hollow Knight: Silksong and use the new ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds for the first time.
First Time to Try Hollow Knight: Silksong
The demo of Hollow Knight: Silksong is a big step for the game, first told about in 2019. This is the first big chance for players to test the game by Team Cherry. While no set date for its release, it is likely to come out this year.
Try Out New Xbox Games
Xbox’s spot will have demos of games from its own studios, like:
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: A look at the "Order of Giants" DLC, set for September 4, 2025.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: A demo with the new city update.
- Grounded 2: A demo ready at the event. Xbox Game Pass members can also play from home on August 21, 2025.
Xbox Show Times
Two days of live shows will share updates and deep looks at different games.
- Wednesday, August 20: Starts at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST. Focus on ROG Xbox Ally/Ally X, Grounded 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
- Thursday, August 21: Same start time. Focus on Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, and The Outer Worlds 2.
