XMG Launches PRO 16 Value Model for Gamers Focused on Cost and Performance

XMG is making its PRO 16 laptop line bigger with the new XMG PRO 16 Value Edition (VE). This fresh model makes it easy to get by using Intel's Core i9-14900HX chip and giving a choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs, while keeping many high-end parts of the main line.

XMG PRO 16 Value Model Main Specs

This Edition is made on tested, strong gear made for gaming and work.

  • Processor and Memory: It comes with the Intel Core i9-14900HX (24 cores) and can handle up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM in two SO-DIMM slots.
  • Graphics: Users can pick from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, RTX 5070, or RTX 5070 Ti. The GPUs work at their top power limits 140 watts for RTX 5070 Ti and 115 watts for both RTX 5070 and RTX 5060, with Dynamic Boost.
  • Storage: There are two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots, allowing setups up to 4 TB.
  • Display: The laptop shows a 16-inch IPS panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution, a fast 300 Hz rate, 500 nits of light, and full sRGB and DCI-P3 color coverage.
  • Connectivity: It has a Mini DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, two full USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet slot, and an SD Express card slot. It does not have Thunderbolt 4. Wireless parts are Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
  • Frame and Extras: The frame is just like the normal PRO 16, weighs 2.4 kg, and has an aluminum display top. It has a 99.8 Wh battery, a Full HD webcam with a privacy cover, and a keyboard with per-key RGB light and N-key roll-over.

Display Boost for the Main XMG PRO 16 (M25)

Besides launching the VE, the main XMG PRO 16 (M25) model, using the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, now offers a Mini LED display. This top screen keeps the same resolution and rate but makes the light better to 750 nits in SDR and to 1,000 nits in HDR, with local dimming.

Cost and When to Get It

Both kinds can be ordered now, with shipping set to start end of August.

  • XMG PRO 16 Value Model (M25): The basic setup with a Core i9-14900HX, RTX 5060, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD starts at €1,549. Moving to RTX 5070 is €195 more, and the RTX 5070 Ti is €520 more.
  • Regular XMG PRO 16 (M25): The normal model with a Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD starts at €2,349. Adding the Mini LED display costs €175 more.

All listed costs include 19% VAT.
