Aoostar Puts Out GODY Mini PC with Ryzen 9 and Its Own AMD GPU
Aoostar has now made the GODY, a new small PC in China. It has a top AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX chip and a stand-alone Radeon RX 7600XT video card. This small box aims to give big game and work speed and starts at about $699.
Key Bits of the Aoostar GODY
The GODY packs tough desk-top bits into a small 3.1-liter box. Its main parts are:
- Chip: AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX (Dragon Range series).
- Video: Stand-alone Radeon RX 7600XT with 8GB of VRAM.
- Memory: Up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM at 5,200 MHz.
- Storage: Two M.2 PCIe 5.0 spots for fast SSDs.
- Net: WiFi 7 and two 2.5G Ethernet spots for quick links.
- Ports: Lots of them including 2x 10Gbps USB-A, 3x 5Gbps USB-A, 2x USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, and a 3.5mm sound jack.
Power and Keeping it Cool
Aoostar says that the Ryzen 9 chip and RX 7600XT card let you play games smoothly at 1080p and work fine at 4K too. To fight the heat from these parts, the mini PC uses two fans. The firm notes this setup can back the GPU at a 150W TGP (Total Graphics Power).
Cost and When to Get it
The Aoostar GODY is out in China now. Price for the basic type is about $699 or CNY 4,999. You can also get it set up more with 64GB of RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD.
The firm hasn't set a date for when it will sell this around the world, but Aoostar often puts its items out in places other than China.
