LG Shows Old Fan In New Style
LG has brought back its Heritage Fan, a new version of its famous D-301 fan. This fan comes from Korea in the 1960s and was the first home tool made there. The new project marks LG's long work in making home tools.
Real Old Look
To make the old fan look right, the LG team found some old D-301 units. They saw that many people who had these old fans said they still worked fine. These old fans set the look for the new one.
The Heritage Fan keeps the main style points of the old one, which are:
- A bent frame.
- A twist knob to control it.
- The old Goldstar crown look.
New Tech Inside
While it looks old on the outside, inside it's all new. The fan has a new kind of motor that runs smooth and quiet. The best new part is a battery that lets the fan work for up to 10 hours on its own.
A Nod to History
The first D-301 was made by Goldstar Co., set up in 1958, and helped make Korean tech known all over. Goldstar Co. started what we now call LG Electronics. The Heritage Fan honors the start of the company.
