Metal Gear Solid Delta Developers Interested in Hideo Kojima's Review of the Remake

Developers who worked on Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater now wish to call on the original creator Hideo Kojima to play their remake of this classic stealth-action game and provide him with some thoughts.

Request with a Pressing Situation

The developers made the request in light of the fact that Kojima had been reportedly asked in July whether he would play the remake. At that time, whoever was asking said he laughed and said he will never go back. Concerningly enough, the teams would really like him to evaluate their work and appreciate how respectfully they treated the original source.

As for the producer of the remake Noriaki Okamura, he abundantly clarified:

"Whether he would want to play it, I don't think we can say for sure. What we can say is that we made this game with respect to all the people who were involved in the original. We'd want Kojima to play it as well."

Remake Launch and Critical Reception

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater launched on August 28 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. So far, the remake is generally receiving positive reviews from its critics, achieving a score of 85 out of 100 in aggregate ratings.
