Metroid Prime 4 Set for 2025, Demo Planned

Nintendo has now said again that Metroid Prime 4 will come out in 2025. They also shared that a demo you can play will be at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto this August.

Demo at Fan Expo Canada with New Switch 2 Games

This demo will be set up at Metro Toronto Convention Centre for Fan Expo from August 21 to August 24. This event will take place at the same time as Gamescom.

Metroid Prime 4 will be shown with other new games for Nintendo Switch 2, like:

  • Mario Kart World
  • Donkey Kong Bananza
  • Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition
  • Hades II
  • Borderlands 4
  • Elden Ring Tarnished Edition

Trust in the Launch Date

This update is big for fans waiting since its first news in 2017. The game had to start over when Nintendo took it from Bandai Namco back to Retro Studios.

People believe Metroid Prime 4 will be out by 2025 as planned, because of Nintendo's update and a new game rating in South Korea.

First Try at Metroid Prime 4

A short demo called Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was shown when Nintendo revealed Switch 2. Here are the main points from trying it out:

  • Packed Start The demo kicks off with Samus landing on planet Tenmaar, right into a big fight with lots of action.
  • Old Feel They say the game feels like the old ones, so if you liked them before, you will now too.
  • Great on Tech This version is really smooth to play and runs at 120fps on the new console.
