GPD Win 5 Global Pricing and Indiegogo Launch Confirmed
GPD has announced global pricing for the eagerly waited GPD Win 5 handheld, a device powered by AMD's Strix Halo APUs. The launch of the device on Indiegogo is set for September 25, though the company stated at the start that it will not be offering a 128 GB RAM option at that date.
Global Pricing Significantly Higher Than Chinese Debut
The price in China was previously stated as CNY 8,699, or close to $1,250. For this reason, GPD has stepped up to confirm a global release that will cost significantly more than this. The new pricing structure reflects a notable increase for international customers.
Buy Configurations and Prices
The global market will feature the following configurations of the GPD Win 5:
- Introduction of Approximately $1,448 for the GPD Ryzen AI Max385 with a 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD.
- Around $1,650 for the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 types.

Indiegogo Campaign and Shipment Information
The Indiegogo campaign for GPD Win 5 will commence on the 25th of September. GPD is expected to begin shipping backers' units by November or December 2025. Besides, GPD claims that every unit of the GPD Win 5 will come with an external battery, power supply, and extended power cable included with the device.
