Intel Core i5-110 A Questionable Rebrand of the 10th Gen Core i5-10400 for the LGA 1200 Platform

Intel's New Core i5-110 is a Relaunched 10th Gen Processor

Intel has also posted a new processor Core i5-110 on its official website, not new design; this is a rebranded product of the Core i5-10400, which was released in 2020 under the 10th generation Comet Lake family of processors.

Direct Rebrand with Same Specifications

The Core i5-110 derives from Intel's 14nm process node, making it essentially a renamed version of the Core i5-10400. Comparing the official specifications, one would notice that there's no change within the two processors.

  • Core/Thread Count: 6 Cores / 12 Threads
  • Max Turbo Frequency: 4.30 GHz
  • Cache: 12 MB Intel Smart Cache
  • Platform: LGA 1200

Not a refresh but simply has an older processor being introduced as new under a different name.

Questionable Value and Market Position

According to Intel's website, the Core i5-110 processor launched in the third quarter of 2025, but it has not yet reached retail stores. The manufacturer's suggested price is $250.
