MSI Launches MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16 Gaming Monitor
MSI has quietly introduced a new 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor, MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16. The monitor uses Samsung Display's Gen 3 panel for this specific reason. Besides, its specifications are a carbon copy of the already uptown MAG 321UP, which has been sold in the US for over one year.
Core Specifications and Features
Both the MAG 322UP and the MAG 321UP share data sheets where differences can't be found. Hence, their performances and features will be said to be entirely alike. Key specifications:
- Resolution & Refresh Rate: 4K at 165 Hz.
- Response Time: 0.03 ms GtG (Gray-to-Gray).
- Brightness: Up to 250 nits in SDR mode and 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness (at 3% APL).
- Refresh Rate Technology: Supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
- Connectivity: Four video inputs.
- Ergonomics: Features an adjustable stand.
Pricing and Current Availability
The MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16 is currently available for purchase in certain regions. The pricing structure goes in this way:
- Taiwan: TWD 26,900 (~$889 USD)
- UK: £898.99 (~$1,999 USD)
Will It Arrive in North America
As at now, the North American gratuitous remains to be seen if MSI truly intends to push the MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16 there. Considering the identical MAG 321UP model has been selling in the American market for more than a year now, the strategy for bringing this new monitor over there remains quite questionable.
