Wangyu Esports and AMD Enter into Partnership for Cafe Deployment of Ryzen X3D Processors
Wangyu Esports, one of the largest and oldest eSports cafe chains in China, has signed a strategic partnership with AMD to deploy more AMD Ryzen X3D processors in Wangyu's cafes, further enhancing the gaming experience for its members.
Focusing on High-Performance eSports Gaming
Following claims made by AMD that their Ryzen 9000X3D processors can attain up to 1000 FPS in various well-known eSports titles such as CS2, Valorant, and LoL, Wangyu Esports, another major brand with over 30 million members globally, and operation in more than 80 worldwide cities, have evidently found this performance target of great interest.
AMD and Wangyu Esports formally made the announcement at the Wangyu eSports and AMD Summit held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. As per IT Home report, AMD shall work closely with Wangyu eSports for the deployment of Ryzen X3D CPUs across the cafe chain with the aim of bringing about a "1000 FPS" eSports experience to customers.
The "1000 FPS" Goal of Gaming
While AMD's Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs are seen as the top for gaming, being able to deliver 1000 FPS in games consistently is quite a mark for developers to hit. Whereas the actual use of frame rates so high is highly debatable, mainstream gaming monitors have not yet approached corresponding refresh rate.
However, the Esports world continues to aim for high-refresh-rate gaming, as there are already monitors with refresh rates higher than 500 Hz. The partnership indicates that Wangyu Esports takes its next-step in equipping the lightest hardware for future high-performance competitive gaming and that its customers will be offered an opportunity to access paramount CPU technology.
