Massive AWS Outage Wreaks Havoc on Major Gaming Services In Recovery
A massive outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS) today produced immense connectivity difficulties for several online applications and services. The disturbance had a serious impact on the gaming industry, crippling the foremost services such as PlayStation Network (PSN), Fortnite, and Roblox for several users. Epic Games (Fortnite & Rocket League)

Roblox

PlayStation Network (PSN) & EA
All PSN services are now up and running according to the official status page of PlayStation. EA, too, reported that its services are now back online for all its games, including Battlefield 6, after users experienced problems related to the AWS disruption.

The official AWS Service page indicates that North Virginia was the most impacted service region. While other regions are listed as operational, some users may continue experiencing lingering connectivity problems when trying to access online games or stores such as the PlayStation Store.
