Dell Unveils Pro Max Mini AI PC with NVIDIA GB10 Superchip

Dell has launched its Pro Max Mini AI PC powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Superchip. This compact system has just been announced at GTC 2025, which is its proprietary benefit for being an AI powerhouse mini PC. Running large language models locally, this PC is capable of delivering up to 1000 TFLOPS of FP4 compute performance.

Core Features and Performance

Dell has built the internal workings of the Pro Max GB10 to facilitate local AI development, making it a cheaper, secure alternative for the deployment of AI workloads in the cloud. The following are the highlights:

  • Local AI Development: operating models with up to 200 billion parameters.
  • Compute Power: Performance of up to 1000 TFLOPS of FP4 compute operations.
  • Unified Memory: It has a maximum memory of 128 GB of LPDDR5x unified system memory.
  • Software Stack: Runs on NVIDIA DGX OS and the NVIDIA AI software stack, ensuring portability between desktop and data center environments.

Hardware Specifications

It is an internal superchip in the sense that it has a combination of an Arm-based CPU and a Blackwell architecture GPU inbuilt into the NVIDIA GB10. These are the basic specifications of the Dell Pro Max Mini AI PC:

  • Processor: NVIDIA GB10 Superchip, 20 Arm v9.2 cores, and a Blackwell GPU with 6144 cores.
  • Memory: 128 GB LPDDR5x memory up to 273 GBs of system bandwidth.
  • Storage: Up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen4 and up to 4 TB of SED Ready M.2 storage.
  • Connectivity: Includes multiple 20 Gbps USB Type-C ports, a 10 GbE LAN port, HDMI 2.1b, two QSFP 200 Gbps ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Compact Stackable Design

The PC itself is very compact, with base configuration dimensions of 150x150x51mm and a weight of 1.31kg. It is powered by a 280W AC adapter.

There is a significant capacity for stacking this PC. By using the NVIDIA ConnectX-7 Smart NIC, it is possible to connect two Pro Max units together. Such configuration allows the local operation of models with up to 400 billion parameters (twice the size).

Availability

The Dell Pro Max GB10 Mini AI PC will be available for purchase at major retailers starting October 15th. Pricing information is expected to be released soon.
