Sharp Japan Presents Ultralight Xrostella VR1 Glasses
The company has introduced an all-new set of virtual reality glasses that can be used for PC and smartphone applications. Weighing less than 200 grams the device is hugely crowdfunded, and great importance would be attached to its delivery.

The Xrostella VR1 is designed for a compact and light structure to provide simplification for usage as compared to heavier counterparts.

- User settings: Adjustable IPD between 58-71 mm and diopter compensation from 0 to -9.0 for myopic users.
Tracking, Control, And Communication
The headset contains a full tracking and interaction system that utilizes two cameras for six degrees of freedom (6DoF) tracking and a second camera specifically for head position recognition to accurately represent in space. The hand's movements are tracked by two handheld controllers. Speakers and microphones are incorporated into the headset for effective communication in virtual settings.
Launch and Crowdfunding Details
Sharp Japan will initiate a crowdfunding campaign for the Xrostella VR1 on the Green Funding platform, with the campaign expected to begin in November this year.
