Abxylute Launching 3D One Glasses-Free 3D Gaming Handheld on Kickstarter
Abxylute plans to take the 3D One, a PC handheld capable of delivering glasses-free 3D visuals during applications for gaming, around the middle of November on Kickstarter. The device will feature a 10.95-inch 120Hz display and implement AI eye-tracking that will simulate the glasses-free 3D effect in perioperative real time.
How It Works
The 3D One relies mainly on the hardware, together with software, to showcase 3D images without glasses.
- Hardware specifications Display 10.95 inches, 2560 x 1600 LTPS LCD, 120 Hz refresh rate, and brightness of 480 nits.
- Method for 3D an arrangement of TN LCD above the main panel in combination with AI eye-tracking cameras directing separate images to the left and right eyes of the individual viewing the 3D content hence developing a stereoscopic effect of 3D.
- Software A built-in 2D-to-3D conversion box for converting 2D games, movies, or images to 3D is housed in the device, which can be activated by a switch pressed for turning on 3D mode.
Performance and Expected Specifications
Meanwhile, the handheld is said to include an Intel CPU, and while full specs will be provided at launch, Abxylute has said this device is expected to ship with 1TB for storage on SSD devices and a 50 WH battery. In a company-released teaser video, the system initially logged in a 3DMark Time Spy graphics score of 4,067.
Kickstarter Launch and VIP Reservation Offer
The Abxylute 3D One is scheduled to go live on Kickstarter around Nov. 13, although this is not set in stone. It is expected that the product will have a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,799.
