FEROCIOUS to Launch on December 4 Surviving Mercenaries and Tamed Dinosaurs
TinyBuild has confirmed that the single-player first-person shooter FEROCIOUS will be launched on PC via Steam on December 4, 2019. Developed by OMYOG, a studio made up of veterans from the film and AAA gaming industries, it uses the Unity engine and promises an innovative combination of survival action and interaction with creatures.
A Hostile Island with a Tactical Twist
In FEROCIOUS, players find themselves stranded on a hostile island filled with prehistoric predators and mercenaries. To survive, they must navigate dangerous terrain, take care of meager resources, and discover secrets buried. Still, this isn't what distinguishes the game as a shooter. It features a pretty unique dino control device.
This mechanism allows the player to scan the brain of a creature and emit its vocal signals using ultrasound calls that only reptiles can hear. Once under the influence of a dinosaur, a player can give commands like
- Specific targets to attack.
- Points to move toward.
- Breaking barriers to open new paths.
- Bringing items.
- Infiltrating guarded areas.
Although there are different speeds of response among different species, some of them are smarter or more obedient than the others; and not all dinosaurs on the island can be controlled by the player.

His main influence for his visual environment was the King Kong universe. He has Mark-a director with experience on Far Cry and Battlefront II, ensuring that the depth of design is at par with sandbox-level games. The narrative is penned by writers Jörg Ihle and Dominik Hochwald, who carry film and theme park experience to the guts of the game lore.
