iBuyPower Appoints Micro Center for Authorized Service Provider
The US-based PC system integrator iBuyPower has recently announced its collaboration pact with the country's popular hardware retailer Micro Center. Under this new deal, Micro Center is set to be iBuyPower's authorized service provider for repairing the games desktop PCs and laptops developed by the company.
In and Out-of-Warranty Service Information
That process has now been opened up to iBuyPower customers for the direct delivery of systems to any Micro Center location for service. Systems that are covered by iBuyPower's warranty-cleaning services (a 3-year labor and 2-year parts warranty) will be repaired and components replaced free of charge. Customers need proof of purchase to be eligible for in-warranty service.
The partnership includes coverage for systems that have gone out of warranty. Out-of-warranty diagnostic and repair services will be conducted by Micro Center, with pricing for the services being made "transparent".
Scope of Repair Services Covered
Micro Center will extend the aforementioned services to iBuyPower systems. They include:
- Diagnosis and trouble-shooting of hardware issues
- Replacement and repair of components
- Cooler repairs and upgrades
- Operating systems-and BIOS solutions
- System cleaning and maintenance
How to Receive Service
Customers can visit their closest Micro Center store to get their devices repaired. The retailer accepts walk-ins and also allows online appointments but recommends setting one up ahead of time. Besides this, the retailer also has other forms of added services like data backup and transfer for those who may wish to have it.
