Linux Hardware Company Slimbook announces the launch of its latest KDE Slimbook VII, which brings high-performance AMD silicon to the open-source communities. The newest entry into the range continues to aim at weight balancing-power versus price-and has been swept off the shelves at an entry price of €1,029.

Modern AMD Hardware for Linux

KDE Slimbook VII heralds the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor to be used in it. It is a chip designed for modern workloads with AI workloads increasingly becoming a reality in the Linux ecosystem.

Interactive graphical duties are handled by the integrated AMD Radeon 880M. While not the most powerful, this iGPU can clock light to moderate gaming and multimedia tasks, making it a great choice for someone who needs a machine that can do it all

Display and Price

Besides the internal specifications, Slimbook also designed the machine with a fast display. The panel supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, offering fluid motion that benefits everything from scrolling through code to competitive gaming
